Desay Battery Exhibits at The Smarter E Europe 2026

2026-06-25

MUNICH, Germany, June 25, 2026 — Desay Battery had a major presence at The Smarter E Europe 2026 from June 23 to 25, presenting its full capabilities spanning battery cells, systems, safety technologies, and manufacturing services. At Europe’s flagship energy exhibition, the company globally launched its static immersion technology and proactive safety management system, while also unveiling a series of new cell and system products.

Desay Battery showcased its full lineup of energy storage cells, including 100 Ah, 314 Ah, and 587 Ah lithium-ion (LFP) batteries, as well as a 43 Ah sodium-ion cell. The 587 Ah high-capacity LFP cell is made for utility-scale storage plants, directly addressing the demand for lower costs and higher efficiency. Making its European premiere, the 30 Ah-class solid-liquid state battery boasts an energy density exceeding 420 Wh/kg. First introduced in China in April this year, this cell has passed rigorous nail penetration and 300 °C hot plate tests without catching fire or exploding, positioning it as a next-generation technology reserve.

The static immersion technology demonstrated at the show departs from conventional indirect liquid or air cooling. By physically isolating battery cells from the external environment, it fundamentally blocks thermal runaway propagation pathways. In the event of thermal runaway, the insulating liquid rapidly dissipates heat and cuts off oxygen contact, reducing accident risks to an absolute minimum. Alongside this, the multi-dimensional proactive safety management system integrates temperature-pressure sensors embedded inside the cells with millisecond-level multi-parameter monitoring, intelligent early warning, and active suppression. The system can provide a 30-day advance warning of thermal runaway risks, marking a decisive shift from passive protection to active defense.

At the exhibition, TÜV Rheinland awarded Desay Battery Bankability Report for its 5 MWh containerized energy storage system. The report encompasses a comprehensive evaluation across multiple dimensions—including product technical reliability, safety performance, production and delivery capability, financial health, market reputation, and full-lifecycle operation and maintenance capability—providing complete compliance assurance for Desay Battery’s energy storage products to access global markets.

For the first time, Desay Battery systematically introduced its global OEM/ODM manufacturing service system to the European market. Under the “Service Platform Going Global” strategy, the company exports not only products but also comprehensive delivery capabilities covering entire factory design, customized production line deployment, full-process system setup, and localized mass production—effectively offering European customers a complete turnkey solution for energy storage manufacturing and operation. This represents an upgrade from simple product trade to the systematic export of capabilities.

In the second quarter of 2026, Desay Battery was included in the BloombergNEF Global Energy Storage Tier 1 list for the fifth time. Since 2025, overseas project deployment has continued to accelerate: cumulative installations of commercial and industrial energy storage projects in Bulgaria have exceeded 16 MWh, and in February 2026, a new 2 MW/4.8 MWh project in Sliven was officially connected to the grid. In addition, the 200 MWh grid-scale frequency regulation project in partnership with Finland’s Lehto Group has entered the delivery phase.

At this show, Desay Battery presented a complete display of its technological depth—from cells to systems, and from safety technologies to manufacturing services. Looking ahead, the company will continue to harness innovation and service excellence, working with global partners to navigate toward a bright future.
